Oven Baked Pasta

This is a famous Italian recipe…Oven Baked pasta.

It can also be used to “finish” leftovers from a chicken, or other meat…simply slice them very thin and use them along or instead of the ham đŸ˜‰

Serves 8


  • 2 pounds pasta
  • 3 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 pound sliced ham , cut into strips
  • 1 pound mushrooms, sliced
  • (2) 26 ounce jars tomato pasta sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs


Preheat oven to 400 F. Cook pasta until tender about 10 minutes. Drain, toss with 2 cups cheese. Place in a lightly greased baking dish. Cook the ham and mushrooms slightly for about 3 minutes. Spoon over the pasta. Heat the sauce and basil and spoon over the ham and pasta. Combine the remaining cheese and bread crumbs and sprinkle over the sauce. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve with a salad and garlic bread.
