Rice and egg bites

Another day, another tasty recipe. This one is a great way to start a meal or to be served with cocktails at a party!


  • 140gr rice
  • 0,5 l milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 50 gr butter
  • 3 tablespoon of parmesan
  • salt


heat the milk, when it’s boiling add the rice and let it cook.

Drain the rice, put it in a bowl and add 25 gr butter, the eggs yolk, parmesan and a sprinkle of salt.

In another bowl whisk the egg whites until stiff and add them to the rice, butter, yolk and parmesan.

In a baking pan, melt the remaining butter and then pour the mixture inside. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.

When ready, cut into cubes and serve either hot or cold with a cherry tomato on top. Enjoy them!
