Easy dessert recipes: Tiramisu recipe with Pavesini. A classic Italian dessert, quick to prepare and always appreciated by all. Excellent as a last course for a summer dinner menu with friends in town, at the sea or at the mountains.

Ingredients (8 people)

  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa
  • 100g sugar
  • 6 cups of Italian espresso
  • A pack of Pavesini


In a bowl mix the mascarpone with the sugar and egg yolks. Whip the egg whites until stiff and add to mixture. Coate the bottom of a rectangular mold with pavesini dunked in coffee, taking care not to bathe them to much. Pour half of the cream and dust it with cocoa, dropped by a sieve. Make another layer with Pavesini placing them in the opposite direction to the previous. Pour the remaining cream and dust them with cocoa. Let rest the tiramisu in the refrigerator at least 12 hours.

Note: many people tend to use “Ladyfinger” biscuit…but they get way too soaked and tend to be too mushy. Pavesini do a far better job for me đŸ˜‰
